Successful Vascular Bypass Surgery for Traumatic Damaged Popliteal Artery Injury – A Leg Saved

A 46-Year-old male, presented in emergency with serious injuries due to a roadside Accident. He had a Complex fracture of the right Tibia with injury to the Lower Limb Popliteal Artery. The injury was more than 6 hours in duration and was explained as a Loss of Leg outside so He was resuscitated in ER & Emergency.

After the Stabilisation of the fracture by Dr Saurabh Jain & team. Vascular Bypass was done using a vein graft from Left Leg within 4 hours of receiving the Leg saved, Good circulation with palpable pulses at Discharge.
