Brain stroke is also known as brain attack. It’s of 2 types: ischemic stroke and Hemorrhagic stroke. Ischemic stroke occurs when the blood supply to a part of the brain is stopped or interrupted due to which the brain cells starts to die because of lack of oxygen and required nutrients. Hemorrhagic stroke occurs when an artery inside the brain bursts and starts to bleed.

Aneurysm may leads to a brain stroke which involves a swelling (balloon type structure form) in artery inside brain which supply blood.

A brain stroke is a medical emergency (highly critical situation) which requires an immediate action and multi-specialty treatment to save the damage of brain and related complications.

Good news is that the number of people die of stroke are reducing every year due to the availability of effective treatment and awareness in people towards taking an immediate action on these cases.
